1. Data Privacy & Processing
PinStash is a local-first browser extension. All scraping and downloading processes occur entirely within the user's local browser environment.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history, Pinterest credentials, or downloaded content to any external servers.
- Your license key is sent exclusively to Gumroad for the sole purpose of activation and verification.
- User settings (folder names, naming conventions) are stored locally on your device via
browser.storage.local.
2. Disclaimer of Liability (Pinterest & User Behavior)
By using this software, you agree that the developer is not responsible for:
- Account Actions: Any bans, blocks, or temporary suspensions of your Pinterest account resulting from the use of this tool. Users are solely responsible for complying with Pinterest's Terms of Service and scraping limits.
- Data Usage: How the user utilizes the downloaded images or metadata (CSV/JSON). The user is responsible for respecting intellectual property rights.
- Platform Changes: Interruptions in service caused by Pinterest changing its website structure, API, or security protocols.
3. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final. Refunds are only granted under the following strict conditions:
Refund Criteria: A refund may be requested only if the application is non-functional at the time of purchase or within 30 days of purchase, AND the provider (PinStash) has failed to provide a corrective update within a reasonable timeframe after the issue was reported.
